James Adamczyk of Accenture to Keynote OMG's Third Annual BPM Think Tank 2007

Mr. Adamczyk will give the presentation, "Standards Play Critical Role in Creating Value with BPM." During the presentation, Mr. Adamczyk will discuss how Business Process Management, as both a business and IT discipline, promises to improve the linkage between business strategy, information technology and business monitoring. As Senior Executive in Accenture's Systems Integration & Technology group and BPM Capability lead, Mr. Adamczyk manages the Process Centric Architectures Specialty across the company. He is responsible for setting the direction, and developing the skills, assets and offerings to help clients adopt and utilize Business Process Management (including Business Process Automation). In addition, Mr. Adamczyk leads the Technical Architecture Capability for Accenture's Financial Services North America Clients.

Mr. Adamczyk has over 25 years experience in management, design, development, and testing of large scale, mission critical applications based upon complex systems architectures, distributed computing and object-oriented technologies. Most recently, Mr. Adamczyk has been working with clients to address issues of analysis, design and automation of business processes leveraging Service Oriented Architectures including work with a major retail and commercial bank, and a credit card processor.

Mr. Adamczyk has a degree in Engineering from Purdue University, and a Masters Degree in Engineering from Georgia Tech.
